Why invest

The case in five lines, each one testable against our reporting.

  1. One model, five schemes

Salary sacrifice is a well understood UK tax mechanism. We proved it in electric cars, extended it into charging, have solar and heat pumps ready to launch on the same rails, and reach the whole home through The Net Zero Home Scheme.

  2. Employer distribution

Every employer we sign carries the whole brand. One conversation with a payroll team can put several schemes in front of the same workforce, at no extra cost of acquisition.

  3. We create the market

We lobby government to widen what salary sacrifice can cover, most recently with an open letter co-signed by the REA and over 30 industry leaders. New schemes follow policy wins.

  4. Room to expand

Salary sacrifice already covers cars and charging. Extend it to Energy Saving Materials and solar and heat pumps open up on the same employer base, with no new distribution to build.

How we are structured

One brand, many benefits. Each scheme has its own market and stage of maturity, and all of them run on shared infrastructure.

Net Zero Benefits

Net Zero Benefits is the master brand. Each scheme below is one of its products, sharing the same compliance, data protection, service and impact standards.

  • Live

    The Electric Car Scheme

Our founding scheme. Employees save 20 to 50% on any electric car, and employers carry no financial risk from day one.

  • Just launched

    The Net Zero Home Scheme

Discounted solar, batteries, heat pumps and charge points for employees, delivered by vetted installers outside payroll at no cost or risk to the employer.

  • Growing

    The Charge Scheme

Charging at home, at work and in public, paid from gross salary. It plugs into any employer's car scheme, including schemes we do not run.

  • In development

    The Heat Pump Scheme

Home heating through salary sacrifice. We are working with HM Treasury to extend the mechanism to Energy Saving Materials.

  • In development

    The Solar Scheme

Rooftop solar on the same terms, so households generate their own power without finding the upfront cost.

How we are governed

Net Zero Benefits is one brand with many benefits. Every scheme runs on the same standards for compliance, data protection, customer outcomes and impact reporting, so an employer signs up once and gets the same service whichever scheme they add. As a certified B Corporation, we are assessed against independent social and environmental standards.

Questions people ask

Straight answers to the questions we are asked most often.

What is the investment case?

UK employers are being asked for benefits that help staff with the cost of clean technology, and salary sacrifice is a proven way to deliver them. Net Zero Benefits builds on established schemes in a market with long term policy support behind electrification.

How does the business make money?

Revenue comes from the schemes themselves through arrangement and service fees paid by employers and scheme partners, across a growing base of employers and employees.

How is the group governed?

A board oversees strategy, risk and financial control, supported by the senior leadership team who run the schemes day to day.
